Glamory is the online shop for tights, stay-ups and stockings in mid size and plus size, EU sizes 40 to 62 (M to 4XL). Our tights are cut extra roomy, so nothing digs in or slips at the tummy, hips or thighs. For men, we have dedicated styles in our men's tights range.

What are sheer tights?

Sheer tights are made from fine yarn with a low denier. The number indicates the thickness of the yarn: 20 denier is fine and sheer, 40 denier is semi-sheer, and from 60 denier tights are opaque.

Which tights are right for you?

• Sheer, 20 denier: Satin 20 with a subtle satin sheen, or the open-toe Toeless 20.
• Semi-sheer, 40 denier: Satin 40 with a sheen.
• With support (support class 1): the semi-sheer Vital 40 and the opaque Vital 70.
• With an open crotch: our Ouvert crotchless tights, with an open T-band or fully open.

What matters in plus size tights

How can I make my tights last longer?

Wash them at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, do not spin and do not tumble dry. When putting them on, hosiery gloves protect the fine fabric from ladders.

What is the difference between sheer tights and tights?
Sheer tights are thin and usually transparent, up to around 40 denier. From around 60 denier, they are called opaque tights.

Will the waistband dig into my tummy?
No. The brief section and waistband are cut extra roomy, so the waistband sits comfortably without digging in or slipping down.
