Size & fit
Which sizes does Glamory offer?
Glamory tights, stay-ups and stockings come in EU dress sizes 40 to 62 (up to 4XL), usually in sizes 40–42, 44–46, 48–50, 52–54, 56–58 and 60–62. Knee-highs, ankle socks and garters come in one size.
What do mid size and plus size mean at Glamory?
At Glamory, mid size covers sizes 40–42 and 44–46 (M and L), and plus size covers sizes 48–50 to 60–62 (XL to 4XL). Glamory is the online shop for tights, stay-ups and stockings in mid size and plus size, EU sizes 40 to 62 (M to 4XL).
How do I find the right size?
All you need is your height and weight. Enter both into our size calculator or look up your size in the size chart. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Why do Glamory tights fit better on fuller thighs and tummies?
Glamory tights aren't simply cut longer: they have an extra-roomy brief and thigh section, plus a wide comfort waistband and flat seams. So the tights stay in place without digging in, slipping down or rubbing between the thighs.
Do Glamory tights fit long legs too?
Yes. Leg length is no problem: Glamory tights and stockings also fit women with long legs.
Do stay-ups slip on fuller thighs?
Our stay-ups have wide lace tops with double silicone strips that hold securely on the thigh without constricting. To help the silicone grip properly, don't apply body lotion to your thighs before wearing them. Shop stay-ups.
Do you also have men's tights in plus sizes?
Yes. Our men's tights are cut for the male body, with more room at the front, and are available up to size 62 (4XL). They come in sheer, opaque and support versions.
Materials & quality
What does denier (den) mean?
Denier indicates the thickness of the yarn. 20 denier is fine and sheer, 40 to 50 denier is semi-sheer and more durable, and from around 60 denier tights are opaque and warmer.
Is Glamory hosiery kind to the skin?
Yes. Our hosiery is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, which means it has been tested for harmful substances. Find out more on our Quality page.
Where are Glamory products made?
Glamory has its entire collection made exclusively in Europe, by knitting mills and partner companies it has worked with for many years. European production stands for consistent quality.
How does Glamory develop its tights?
Glamory develops its products in-house, based on series of body measurements. They are knitted in Europe on special circular knitting machines designed for larger widths, using an adapted material composition. Development takes six to 18 months from the first idea to the finished product. Find out more in the interview with founder Sven Bork.
How does Glamory test the fit?
Every new style goes through several rounds of prototypes, fittings and test wearers before it goes on sale.
How should I care for my tights and stockings?
Wash them at 30°C on a delicate cycle, ideally in a laundry bag. Do not spin, do not tumble dry and do not use fabric softener. When putting them on, hosiery gloves protect the fine fabric from ladders.
