What if I'm between two sizes?

If your measurements fall exactly between two sizes, Glamory always recommends choosing the larger size for the best possible fit that won't dig in.

How do I find the right size for Glamory Supersize (5XL to 10XL)?

For our Supersize collection (sizes 64 to 86), you don't need your height and weight, but a tape measure. For these larger sizes, measure your waist and your hips and compare the measurements with our Supersize chart.

How do I put on tights properly? (Step-by-step guide)

Step-by-step guide to putting on tights without causing ladders

  1. Roll up: Roll up each leg of the tights or stockings. Carefully slip each foot in, right down to the toe.
  2. Pull up: With your feet planted firmly on the floor, pull the tights or stockings up with even pressure.
  3. Adjust: Ease the tights evenly over your thighs and hips up to your waist, without overstretching the fabric.

Tip: You'll also find these instructions on a leaflet in every Glamory pack.

What does denier (den) mean for tights?

In hosiery, the term "denier" (abbreviated to den) plays a key role in describing the thickness of the yarn. Denier is a standardised unit of measurement based on the weight of a polyester fibre: 1 denier means that 9,000 metres of fibre weigh one gram.

  • Low denier (e.g. 20 den): Stands for a very fine yarn. These tights are sheer and see-through, with a delicate, elegant look. They are particularly suitable for warm days or special occasions.
  • High denier (e.g. 100 den): Indicates a thicker, more robust yarn. These tights are opaque and warmer, which makes them ideal for cooler days or smarter everyday outfits.
